It was also a pay back effort for their losses from law enforcement and 'The Old Guys Squad', a secret band of retired police officers and former military men and women who had made many of their warriors die and or mysteriously disappear. Being unknown, innovative, vicious and not playing by the rules, it made the 'Old Guys Squad' effective beyond what the jihadists could phantom. Uncovering the terrorists plots with informants, linguistic specialists, hidden electronic bugs, gun purchasing scams, ambushes and superior combat knowledge, caused the terrorists continuing losses. The Island of Maui developed their own 'Olds Guy Squad' which was more effective than the members of the Joint Task Force set up by the Feds. One of their multi casualty counts on a terrorist group developed support by the public, but would someone cause their identities to be given to the Federal Agencies? What would the Federal Agencies do with the information?

Henry (Hank) J. Silva was born on the island of Oahu three months before the Pearl Harbor attack December 7, 1941. He obtained a college degree in criminal justice and followed a police career as his grandfather before him when he became a police officer in 1966.
