This play has been specially written for the Maltings Community Theatre and is based on the recollections of the women themselves. Do Shaw lives in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Most of her work as a director has been in community theatre and education. Her plays were written for large groups of non-professional actors, with a predominantly female cast.
