This book is a product of intensive research work on water birds of Santragachi Wetland, West Bengal, India which not only reveals the concurrent avifaunal assemblage but also demonstrates the important findings regarding the limnological conditions of the urban lake. Diversity, abundance along with the limnological profile might serve the research community as a valuable literature resource as well as policy makers and planners to incorporate new management actions of this less studied lake ecosystem.
