As she struggles with past traumas, she finds a possible ally in Kit, even if he is the one holding her captive. Autumn is coming to an end and only time will tell if they can escape this nightmare before the last leaf falls to the ground. In this novella, a girl is dealing with the scars her parents left her to deal with and finds an unexpected glimpse of light in the darkest of times.
