Diego Jourdan Pereira is a world-trotting puzzle designer, and nonfiction writer. Growing up in cannibalism-prone Uruguay, his travels saw him evade a lynching attempt during Bolivia’s Gas Conflict of 2003, dodge bullets in crime-ridden Buenos Aires (2005), survive the swine flu pandemic (2009), endure an 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile (2010), sojourn through Easter Island in 2011, and travel back in time from Japan in 2015. He currently find himself braving out the 2019 Chilean uprising!
