This book assesses the effect of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) independent variables (determinants) like urban planning, policy, strategy and guidelines, for scaling up mass transport system as well as for mixed use and social amenity and financial instrument for TOD implementations on dependent variables (indicators) of sustainable urban development, environmental benefits, economic development, social benefits and business development by testing their associations, relationships and impacts on sustainable urban development based on selected AA LRT transit nodes (four selected LRT stations). The study has been focused on examining the impact of TOD on sustainable urban development. In doing this, exploratory and explanatory approaches with qualitative and quantitative methods are employed. To achieve the objectives of the study information is gathered through questionnaire from a sample of 78 respondents involved in TOD Projects. Stratified sampling method is used to get information from different parts of the above institutions. Multiple regression model has been resorted to evaluate whether independent variables have significantly influenced the dependent variables.
