The book also unveils the challenges students encounter in their quest to acquire ILS in academic environments which are under-resourced and then, recommend strategies to confront them. Most importantly, current debates based on various theoretical underpinnings in Information Literacy Assessment such SCONUL model, Information Search Process model, the Big6 skills model and others are discussed and reviewed thoroughly. Donald Flywell Malanga works as a Systems Librarian at the University of Livingstonia in Malawi. He holds a Masters Degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Botswana (2016) and a Bachelor of Library and Information Science from Mzuzu University, Malawi(2011).He researches in Information Literacy, Open Access and ICT Adoption
