Steven Lawther has written widely on football in fanzines and magazines. His first book, Unthinkable: Raith Rovers' Improbable Journey From the Bottom to the Top of Scottish Football was named on the Scotsman's Best Scottish Sports Reads of 2014. He is a passionate supporter of Raith Rovers and the Scotland women's national team, having travelled with his wife and daughter to the Netherlands, Switzerland and France to back the side.
