At age 16, Jordan Abidor started Arkaik Clothing out of his parents garage. By age 20, Arkaik had surpassed $1M in Annual Revenue and had nearly 30 employees working out of a Tempe, Arizona warehouse. Abidor also created an Arkaik Record Label, T-Shirt Printing company and a handful of other projects while touring the United States selling Arkaik on music festivals. While attaining his degree in Marketing, Jordan was also running a growing company while facing the US recession, increasing corporate debt and changes in the digital marketing landscape. After nearly 8 years in business and amassing record sales in 2011, by 2014 Arkaik was out of capital, employees and office space. 'Arkaik Clothing: Successes and Business Lessons of a College Entrepreneur' allowed Jordan Abidor and Thesis-Partner Alex Trichak to explore how this company used social media marketing, strategic partnerships with musicians and word of mouth to explode in popularity in 2011, and why a mere three years later, was no longer in business.
