Produktbeschreibung
Scientific, theoretical, theological, metaphysical, and fanciful perspectives relating to our place in the cosmos. Within this volume, you will find a little bit of country, and a little bit of rock and roll. It delves into the pedantic as well as the stimulating and spine-tingling aspects of the question: "Are we alone in the universe?" If you've looked up at the heavens to wonder where you fit in to the cosmos, if you've questioned whether there is a divine design, or if you've desired to go where no-one has gone before, this book is for you. I hope each chapter in this and its companion volume will become a springboard for your own personal enlightenment, as you probe the mind of God, which is, after all, the final frontier of exploration. May you be introduced to the wonders of exciting new dimensions of experience, as you seek out new relationships and new ways of looking at life, as you catch a glimpse of eternity, and as you visualize yourself living among the stars. May you boldly go into that far country where few have gone before. For your own part, through the ministrations of the Spirit, may you better understand its realm, which is the abode of the Gods.
Autorenporträt
Phil Hudson and his wife Jan have 7 children and over twenty-five grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with their family at their cabin nestled in the Selkirk Mountains, on the shore of Priest Lake, the crown jewel of North Idaho. Phil had a successful dental practice in Spokane, Washington for 43 years, before retiring in 2015. He has an eclectic mix of hobbies, and enjoys the out of doors. He always finds time, however, to record his thoughts on his laptop, and understands Isaac Asimov's response when he was asked: If you knew that you had only 10 minutes left to live, what would you do?" He answered: "I'd type faster." Phil received the inspiration to write this book while he and Jan were serving as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in the Kingdom of Tonga. While there, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
