Is it possible to love Christ, follow the guidance of the I Ching, and aspire to write with the same intensity as a twelfth-century mystic? Stephen Falconer would say it is. It has been his aspiration to delve into different cultures and find the wonder and difficulties therein, then, with an appreciation of human spirituality, to realize we share, ultimately, a common ground--to become close to what loves and sustains us.
