In this book an overview on the topic of Melanoma Skin Cancer was conducted, through Textile Engineering perspective, in order to develop a less invasive approach for the treatment of Melanoma, without requiring the use of invasive techniques, achieving a more efficient recovery and decrease malaise. The polymeric nanoparticles incorporated in nanostructure can work as a drug delivery system, which can be made by different materials to serve as a potential drugs delivery vehicle for treating Melanoma. The nanoparticles due to their small size can penetrate efficiently through the barriers by means of small capillaries in individual cells, thus enabling effective accumulation of the drug in the target sites.
