With the rapid growth of Internet, electronic material especially eBooks have become the most popular choice for students/ learners to study as these are cheaper than printed books and easy to carry within an electronic device. This book presents a framework which deals with Information Extraction (IE) and sentiment analysis. We have implemented IE to extract learning concepts and relations from eBooks, to explore the content and features of eBook such as coverage & readability and identify relations among learning concepts described in eBook. During the recommendation process, user reviews of the recommended material/ eBooks are analyzed using sentiment analysis. The overall sentiment profile is computed and the recommendations are modified according to sentiment scores computed. The book describes in detail the framework designed, concepts of IE and the Sentiment Analysis approach.
