It shows that the current applications of georeferencing are concentrated on the tax, land and environmental aspects, guiding producers in the implementation of the frameworks required by the legislation and which favour them under the laws in force, avoiding penalties and enabling conditions for land movements, loans and public financing.There is also a market trend towards working with database technology via the internet (clouds). Other applications, such as land use management through remote sensing products and precision cartography, are suggested in the form of charts and maps. It can be seen that geoprocessing, if combined with strategic field visits, becomes a tool with a high potential to contribute to optimising management.
