The maintenance plan consists in the reduction of breakages or unexpected failures. The FMEA tool consists in the identification of what has been the causative agent of the failures and seeks to offer a way to solve the problems. The research also addressed the creation of an action plan to assist in maintenance management. Finally, the FMEA and 5W2H tools were applied in the aforementioned company.
