Marc Fryd, (Agrégation 1986, Ph.D. - 1995, HDR - 2012), Université de Poitiers, is Senior Lecturer in English linguistics. He has published mostly on variation in English, and also produced the Pronunciation lexicon of British place-names, first names and surnames database. Pierre-Don Giancarli, Université de Poitiers, Senior Lecturer in contrastive linguistics. After writing a Ph.D. devoted to bilingualism, his current research and publications focus on Corsican-French-English, the varieties of French spoken in Canada (Laurentian and Acadian) and language contacts in Chiac.
