The author grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey, a small town outside of New York City. She graduated from Drew University where she majored in English and concentrated on Narrative Theory. She now works for a K - 12 school near her home in Nyack, New York, heading up its Technology Department. In her free time, she likes to travel, eat good food, read and cycle.
