Bwalya M Bernard est né en 1984 à Ndola. Il a étudié la philosophie au St. Bonaventure College de Lusaka et a obtenu une licence en arts (deuxième classe supérieure) à l'Université Antonium de Rome en 2010. Il a reçu un diplôme en théologie en 2013 de l'Université de Tangaza et a obtenu une maîtrise en éducation de l'Université ICU en Zambie en 2018.
