Teachers are becoming aware that one of the main goals of language teaching is to enable learners to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. This volume tends to provide a general overview of Moroccan students' intercultural knowledge in order to explore and assess students' ICC level, analyze the problems students have with their intercultural communicative competence and the essential reasons that resulted in the students' failures in intercultural communication. It also endeavours to explore implications for classroom practice.

Nourreddine Menyani tiene un doctorado de la Universidad Ibn Tofail Kenitra -Facultad de Artes y Humanidades- en el departamento de inglés. También es profesor e investigador. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen la lingüística aplicada, la competencia en comunicación intercultural, la tecnología de la información y la comunicación, la pedagogía y la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras.
