The title "An Assessment of the Internal Security Measures in Nigeria 1999-2016" is a conflict management model, assessing various internal security measures put in place by the Federal Government of Nigeria since the fourth Republic. It was a research carried out to know why there is a protracted internal conflict in the country. And why the measures are not effective and the security institutions failed in their fundamental responsibilities. It should be a book for students in the tertiary institutions, policy makers, researchers and politicians.
