This study comprises an assessment of the land alienation process to establish if there are contraints or challenges in ataining equity in land acquisition, if there are policy measures to enhance equity,the performance of the land delivery system under state land in attaining equity. The study adds to the body of knowledge on how equity can be attained in land acquisition under state tenure. This book is of value to the students, academicians and practitioners in land delivery system as it gives insight on the institutional arrangement, decentralised functions and land alienation process that have to be implemented inorder to attain eqity in land acquition in developing nations of Sub-saharan Africa.
