Pat Hunter is the artist-in-residence at the Yosemite National Park Art Center and has illustrated numerous books. Janice Stevens is the author of ""Fresno's Architectural Past"" and ""Stories of Service."" She is a former staff writer for the ""Business Journal,"" a freelance writer for the ""Fresno Bee,"" and a college-level English composition teacher. They collaborated on the book ""Remembering the California Missions,"" which earned them the Native Daughters of the Golden West Image Award in 2010. They both live in Fresno, California.
