This study argues that Forster progresses from fantasy to prophecy. Depending on this progress, Forster s archetypes evolve. This investigation familiarises the reader with how mythical motifs and archetypes enable the author to communicate his vision of reality, which is essentially timeless. Cumhur Y¿lmaz MADRAN recibió su B.A. y Máster en Literatura Inglesa de la Universidad Atatürk. Completó su doctorado titulado "Un análisis arquetípico de la ficción de E. M. Forster" en METU en 2004. Desde entonces, ha estado trabajando como profesor asistente en el Departamento de Lenguas y Literaturas Occidentales en la Universidad de Pamukkale.
