This five-chapter book elaborates on teaching practices used by the chosen ten instructors in teaching translation at Islamic Azad University-South Tehran Branch, and then examines the consistency between teaching practices used by the ten instructors and the attitudes of fifty students towards teaching translation by close observation checklist and two questionnaires for students (i.e., Likert Scale Questionnaire) and teachers (i.e., Open-ended Questionnaire). Mixed methods design of the study used a triangulation of quantitative and qualitative data to find answers to the three research questions. To analyze the obtained data, seven criteria deemed significant for the process of teaching translation were selected as points of reference for the investigation to single out the practices and criteria, governing teaching translation for undergraduate students at Islamic Azad University South Tehran Branch.
