After surviving a midlife divorce and a string of failed relationships, you'd think Sally would give up on men all together. The sensible thing would be to become a cat lady and dedicate herself to raising her three boys. But sensible has never been one of Sally's strong suits. Driven by unwavering optimism and a healthy dose of delusion, Sally sets out to find the perfect man: smart, handsome and non-homicidal. She takes her search for love online, finding magic in the glittering depths of the Internet. She's certain that true love is just a mouse click away. What could possibly go wrong? An Alphabet of Men follows one courageous woman as she dates her way from Adam to Zak. With humour and unvarnished honesty, Sally recounts a journey that forces her to face her fears and her flaws before she can find lasting love.
Autorenporträt
Sally Morgan spent the better part of her forties dating online - so much so that a dear friend once said to her, "Honey, the Internet isn't only for dating." Who knew you could buy coffee tables too? The only good thing about all those awkward first dates was the collection of stories she gathered. The stories led to a blog and the blog led to the memoir, An Alphabet of Men: Dating My Way from Adam to Zak. It's not exactly the literary masterpiece she imagined she'd one day write, but she's learning to roll with the surprises the universe sends her. Sally lives in Victoria, BC, with her husband, their boys and the very badly behaved "bonus dog," Bertie. She is a writer, teacher, and online course developer.
