Kelsey LaVigne is founder of Figment Solutions, a growing leadership-development and organizational-design consultancy. A popular speaker and workshop facilitator, she is known for inspiring and energizing audiences with her methodology for culture-building as the indispensable engine of organizational transformation and excellence. Every manifestation of her work is anchored to her core belief that people thrive when they are valued and experience belonging. LaVigne's experience in practical leadership, team development and strategic thinking was honed at Brilla Schools, the pioneering public charter-school network in the Bronx. As chief of schools / superintendent, she led Brilla's growth from one school to five, built on a vision of "all in" staff and family involvement in support of student achievement. LaVigne began her career as a math teacher at Uncommon Schools under the umbrella of Teach of America, LaVigne holds a master's degree in Education from Hunter College and a bachelor's in Business Administration, with an emphasis in leadership development, from the University of Southern California. She lives in Connecticut with her family.
