Autorenporträt
Michael Wink studierte Biologie und Chemie an der Universität Bonn und ist seit 1989 Professor für Pharmazeutische Biologie und Direktor am Institut für Pharmazie und Molekulare Biotechnologie der Universität Heidelberg. Zu seinen Interessensschwerpunkten zählt neben Biotechnologie, Arzneipflanzen und Evolutionsforschung die Ornithologie. Er hat bereits mehrere Vogelatlanten veröffentlicht und forscht über die molekulare Systematik und Phylogenie der Vögel.
