El Dr. Gurshaminder Singh obtuvo su doctorado en Extensión y Comunicación Agrícola en SKUAST-Jammu. Ha realizado un máster en Educación de Extensión Agrícola y una licenciatura (con honores) en Agricultura por la Universidad Agrícola de Punjab, Ludhiana.El Dr. Singh trabaja actualmente como profesor asistente en la Universidad de Chandigarh, Punjab.
