Tatiana Edel was born in Siberia and has been living in New York since 2005. She is the author of six books. Her short stories and novelettes are painted in bright emotions, heartiness, and the truth of real life, while her children's tales are exciting, magical, funny, and very kindhearted. She is the many-times champion of fairytale competitions and has the title of Author - Stylish Pen of the 2018 Russkij-Stil International Competition. The book Adventures of Shadow the Cat and other Grandmother's Tales won a literary award in Russia and is published there under the ""Sergey Lukyanenko presents the author"" brand. It also received the gold award at the German 2018 Buch des Jahres Internationaler Wettberwerb.
