Autorenporträt
Prof. Wira Jazair bin Yahya received a Bachelor and Master of Engineering degree from Kagoshima University, Japan in 2000 and 2002, respectively. First work experience after graduation was with Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) from September 2002 to November 2003 as a Research and Development (R&D) Engineer. In December 2003, joined the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), under Faculty of Mechanical Engineering as a Lecturer. Obtained a Doctor of Engineering (Ecosystem) in March 2008 from Tokushima University. Transferred to Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), UTM Kuala Lumpur in year 2011. Appointed as head of Advanced Vehicle System research group from 2012 to 2018 and research manager of MJIIT from 2018 to 2020. Dr. Zawawi Daud works as an Associate Professor at Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Born and trained in Malaysia, he has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (University of Technology Malaysia), a master's in Civil Engineering (Environment) (University of Technology Malaysia), and a doctorate in Environmental Engineering (University of Science Malaysia). Dr. Zawawi teaches various courses related to environmental engineering, management and science at undergraduate and master levels. These include water and wastewater treatment, biological and physico-chemical treatment processes, sludge management, industrial and hazardous waste management and water quality management.
