Heather Aven was born in Monroe, Washington, and grew up with a love for reading and writing. Her favorite pastimes have always been allowing herself to be transported to another place and time through books and writing her life experiences in the form of poetry. As a wife, mother of two, and grandmother of one, she understands the value of making precious memories with those you love. Heather began writing books for children in 2010, and her hope is that each family who reads her books will cherish their time together and make memories that will last a lifetime.
