Dr. Clovis Yussef Karam ist Franco-Amerikaner und stammt aus dem Südlibanon, aus der Gegend um die berühmte phönizische Stadt Sidon. Seine Verbundenheit mit der phönizischen Mythologie und dem Land des Phönix und der ewigen Zedern reicht weit über die Schulbänke und Universitätsbibliotheken hinaus. Derzeit ist Dr. Karam Professor an der California CSUS.
