This book provides new researchresults supporting the concern. Specifically,compared with FI adolescents, FD adolescents have asignificantly lower level of physical activity, aremuch less likely to participate in organized sports,and tend to engage in physical activities that areless related to sports, thus expending less energy.The book adds new findings to the body of knowledgeand is useful to professionals in the field ofadolescents' physical activity promotion andintervention.
