The monograph is focused on determining the essence and revealing the specific features of administrative and legal regulation of social protection of the National Police of Ukraine and prospects for its improvement, based on the experience of foreign countries and in the framework of large-scale state reform. As a result of the study, some conclusions and proposals were formulated. It is established that the essence of the administrative and legal components in the regulation of social protection of employees of the National Police of Ukraine can be investigated through the mechanism of administrative and legal regulation and its structural elements. It is substantiated that the mechanism of administrative-legal regulation can be considered a system of interdependent administrative-legal methods and techniques, a clear, consistent interaction of which provides a specific type of social relations, implementing the legal rights and responsibilities of the subjects.
