"Adapting Poe fills an important gap in the adaptation studies canon and offers a variety of suggestive topics for further research. This reviewer looks forward to finding out how Poe has been appropriated outside the United States for political purposes as a canonical author in American Literature. No one has looked at Poe on radio either in America or elsewhere or examined how he has been reinvented online on Facebook or Twitter.
