Grace writes twelve letters, each one addressed to her ex-boyfriend Ben, and each one an attempt at coming to terms with the events that led to the loss of everything she once held dear."It will be as though I kept calm throughout every argument, always saying the things I truly meant to say. It will be like we have always been two rational adults, communicating our way through most of our difficulties, and I shall attempt my best to steer clear of blame being assigned."
