An attempt is made in the present investigation to study on the value pattern of teachers in Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh. In addition to this impact of gender, educational qualifications, teaching experience, locality of the school and type of school management on value pattern of teachers is also studied. 200 high school teachers are drawn from 22 high schools by employing stratified random sample technique located in both rural and urban areas of prakasam districts constituted the sample of the study. The values of the sample was assessed using EVS (Eight Value Scale) constructed and standardized by Dr. Beena Shah (Education Faculty, Garlawal University, Srinagar). It was hypothesized that there is no significant difference on the value pattern of teachers on the selected values. The obtained data are quantitatively analysed by using descriptive statistics such as Mean and S.D. and inferential statistics such as t-test and Correlation wherever necessary. The results revealed that the overall correlation among variables i.e. there is a significant correlation between knowledge value, economic value, aesthetic value, social value, political value, religious value.
