Manja Siber wurde 1987 geboren und wuchs in Nordsachsen auf. Die Atospähre ihrer Jugend würde manch einer als "ländlich und idyllisch" beschreiben, manch anderer als "da und dort hübsch anzuschauen, viel zu klein und viel zu still". Nachdem sie dem Landleben entkommen konnte, studierte Manja Literatur, Geschichte und Vergleichende Religionswissenshaften in Erfurt und später Augsburg, ehe sie sich letztlich in Berlin niederlich. Derzeit lebt sie im ruhigen, grünen Köpenick, wo sie sich der ewigen Dienerschaft einer launischen Katze verschrieben hat.
