Arleen IONESCU is Professor of English Literature at Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiesti, Romania. Her major research and teaching interests are in modernism, the Renaissance and Critical Theory. She has published 4 books and many articles on Joyce, Beckett, Shakespeare, Blanchot, Derrida, Translation Studies and Holocaust Studies.
