In 2011, Brother Dale answered a one-line email request to bring revival to Uganda. In 2011, Brother Dale answered a one-line email request to bring revival to Uganda. Answering that email began an introduction into an incredible tale of the supernatural as he went across Uganda to bring his message of revival. As he traveled from the arid north to the lush western parts of Uganda, he found a people in that were desperately thirsty for God. He watched as God poured out His waters onto these thirsty souls and met their desperation with supernatural outpourings of the Holy Spirit, miraculous healings, and the tangible power of the Gospel. Brother Dale has been to Uganda many times since, but this trip more than any other has always felt like the foundational trip that set the stage for all the others that would come later. It was on this trip that the focus was set and the vision was planted. You could feel the weight of something great, the enormity being hidden but felt nonetheless. Something was about to be created that was bigger than a simple evangelistic trip to an African nation in darkness. The harvest of revival was coming. The sound of an abundance of rain could be heard. It wasn't here yet, but it was coming. The famine and drought were about to end. There was a scent of rain. .
Autorenporträt
Dalen Garris has been in ministry since 1970 during the Jesus Movement in California. He started a radio broadcast in 1997 that was heard on stations around the world for almost 12 years. A newspaper column followed, for which he has written over 700 articles, which were published in newspapers and Christian magazines in several countries. He has also written several books and booklets. Since 2004, he has been lighting the fires of revival in churches spread across sub-Saharan Africa. During the course of 14 years, he has preached in over 700 churches, seen hundreds of churches have been set on fire, hundreds of people have been supernaturally healed, and tens of thousands have been saved. And the fires are still burning. Dr. Garris currently lives with Cindy, his wife of 40 years, in Waxahachie and is still heavily involved with orphanages and churches across Africa. His pressing hope is in seeing this upcoming generation be the Gideon Generation that will usher in this last, great revival that he has preached about for so many years.
