James Spencer earned his PhD in theological studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is the author of multiple books including Christian Resistance: Learning to Defy the World and Follow Christ and Thinking Christian: Essays on Testimony, Accountability, and the Christian Mind. He currently serves as president of D. L. Moody Center and host of Useful to God, a radio program and podcast. >
