Bryant Burkhardt is a nationally respected kayak instructor, both on the ocean and the river. He has produced kayak DVDs and written instructional articles, and his blog, www.PaddleCA.com, documents his time on the water. He now pursues a career as a novelist, working and playing along California's Mendocino Coast.
