Cerebral palsy is the most common motor disability of childhood. It is a group of chronic motor disorders resulting from a non-progressive (static) injury to the developing brain. É membro da Academia Americana de Pediatria e da Sociedade Britânica de Medicina Genética. Foi membro do conselho consultivo da Associação Internacional de Faculdades de Medicina.
