Steven Teo was born of Chinese parents in Singapore in 1952. He is an accountant by training. In 1991, Steven completed his MBA at Monash University, Australia. Subsequently, he graduated from the International Management Development Institute (IMD), Lausanne, Switzerland in Executive Education. Steven had been in the corporate world for many years. He was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Singapore Office of an international Insurance Group for seven years. He later assumed additional responsibility as CEO of their Malaysian operation as well. Concurrently he was the Chairman of a Practice Board for the Asia Pacific Region and represented that region at the Global Commercial Board in Switzerland. Parallel to his strategic work with corporations and ministry to churches, Steven has an on-going mentoring program for pastors, business and professional individuals. The "InSight" program as it has come to be known is a subscription-based ministry that aims to bring clarity of thought and focus to those who are subscribers. He has been entrusted with a set of skills, resources and practical experiences to provide clarity of thought leadership ministry. Steven is also a solicitor with an established Law firm in Melbourne. He is an accredited mediator with the Australian Mediation Association. Steven and his wife Dorothy live in Melbourne, Australia, together with his son Joses and wife Nadia who have given them a pair of adorable grandchildren.
