Every person has a story. Each has their own impressions of life and expressions of how they tell their story - mine is through poetry. In every experience may it be about the weather, a lesson learnt, a prayer or just a thought - I jot it down. I am from the Philippines. I came to the UK in Feb 2001 to work as a Nurse. Being far from home, homesickness really hit me. Writing became my solace as it helps my confidence and creativity. It gave colour to my being and my world in an unfamiliar place. I had a rescue cat named Shadow - my fur baby. She died Dec 2014 and was 14 years old. I called her my muse as she was my constant companion and my comfort hence, you will find poems about her. I started writing young. I write for my friends about love and heartaches. I like to sometimes watch people while travelling to and from work depending on their expressions. I am very visual so in my spare time, I embark on creative ventures. I have completed Cartooning with Merit and enrolled in Graphic Design. I love art in any form. I collect comic books and graphic novels.
