Detroit & Cleveland Steam Navigation Passenger Agent C. D. Whitcomb addressed passenger questions in the book A LAKE TOUR TO PICTURESQUE MACKINAC through prose and images as he tempted customers to spend their money to travel on his ships and stay at Grand Hotel.
