Produktbeschreibung
A House of Empty Spaces is a collection of poetry that reflects on emptiness and growth. Author Julie Sequoia Webb contemplates her experiences in overcoming trauma, self-doubt, and learning how to love herself. In her poetry, she explores her relationship with herself and with others, along with not receiving what she wants, and her search for depth and meaning. Although empty space is uncomfortable and even unbearable at times, it ultimately leads to growth. When we explore empty space within our culture and ourselves, the things we should address but dance around, we discover that we must acknowledge and talk about these things to move forward, grow, and change. Adult readers of poetry will enjoy this witty, emotional, honest, and playful look at space in relationships, nature, and society and how society has changed over the years.
