A History of the Modern Middle East provides students with a primer on the major historical events that have shaped the Middle East over time. David Decker is an associate professor of history at the University of South Carolina Sumter campus. He teaches courses in African history, the Middle East, and European history and geography. He holds a Ph.D. from Michigan State University.
