A master of prose and poetry, she began by making greeting cards for family and friends. By the age of forty, she had hundreds of songs and poems in her collection. She has received several awards for her works including one from Orange Blossom Country Music Association, Inc., designating her Florida State New Gospel Song Writer of the Year for 2005. Encouraged by family, friends, and strangers to put her works into a book she has excitedly taken on this task.
