Owing to the saying that novels or the replica (portrait) of the real world, most African novels are seen incorporating such phenomena's/ideas. Thus by making a comparative essay on the reflection of female characters by male and female authors, I expect to distinguish the roles of those two genders in ensuring the fair distribution of characterization amongst them. I intend to do so by referring to two novels, one written by a female author whilst the other by a male author, which I believe reflects my thoughts on the matter in a better and plain manner.
